Tom Sharp has an unorthodox artistic background, having spent a large part of his life divided between the world of rock music and the construction industry.
Now, as an accomplished sculptor, he uses his natural exuberance to create works of art from a wide variety of up-cycled materials and tackles this in his usual uncompromising way, to produce sculptures and assemblages that are as witty in title as they are in form.
Tom has lived in King's Lynn for the last thirty years and in that time he has become an established member of the art community, most notably as a member of the West Norfolk Artists Association. In recent years he has received a number of accolades for his highly original art works, including, brick and mosaic sculptures, surrealistic assemblages and a performing robot that paints its own pictures.
