Artist's Statement

I live in Norfolk near King's Lynn in the house I grew up in, with my husband Tony and a stray cat.

For many years we lived on a 40 foot, steel, junk rig yacht, built by Tony. We sailed in Scandinavia and the Mediterranean and motored through the German and French canals. We lived in Greece for some years before returning to Norfolk and retiring from boat life.

In the last few years I have been able to pursue a long held dream to be an artist and to paint. It has been a joyful discovery.

I like to share with others how I see the natural world, how I see light and colour, trees and plants, birds and animals. I like to share my moments of inspiration.

I paint in my studio cabin in the garden, overlooking the fields with just the radio for company, and sometimes Tony and the cat.
