Artist's Statement

As a child I loved painting and drawing but it was only when I was working with children and helping them with their pictures that I was encouraged to go further. I attended a beginners watercolour weekend and from that moment I was hooked. I went to an evening class at the college for a while and then was invited to join the Wisbech Art Club.

I have been secretary at the Art Club for many years, a position I took up temporarily! I enjoy the interaction with other artists, and love attending demonstrations and workshops in the hope of improving my artistic talent.
