Artist's Statement

I studied at Manchester University and Croydon College of Art, and worked as a propmaker for theatre film and television before coming to Norfolk to paint full time. My work has been seen in local galleries and I have taken part in the Open Studios scheme. I also exhibit with the Breckland Artists group.

My paintings are semi-abstract, in acrylic, about landscape but also about my emotional relationship with landscape. Hence they rarely depict a known place, but rather an amalgam of places seen, remembered, or imagined.
