Kit Price Moss studied Fine Art at Wimbledon and Birmingham, and obtained an MA in Art and Design in Education at De Montfort University in 2005. For many years she taught in schools and further education.
Kit recently stepped down from Chair of the West Norfolk Artists Association after 4 years, and has been twice winner of the WNAA Syd Davison Award.
In August 2013 she was artist in residence at Galerie Josette Dacosta, St Jean Pied de Port, Pyrenees. Kit is a Member of Gainsborough House Print Workshop and the artist group Artworks, in addition to the West Norfolk Artists Association.
A love of the natural world informs much of Kit?s artwork, whether domestic or wild. Being near the coast has increased her fascination with the wildlife to be found there, living on the edge. She goes to observe breeding seabirds, drawing and painting them in their habitat, using watercolours, acrylic paint, and pastels. Back in the studio she uses environmentally friendly print-making techniques to make further images.
