How to set up your own page on the WNAA websiteAll full members of the West Norfolk Artists Association are entitled to their own individual page on the WNAA website. This will be set up for you by Stephen Martyn, who administers the site. Please read the following information carefully, and supply your images and text to Steve either by emailing them to wnaa@m4art.com or on a CD or memory-stick, by post to Stephen Martyn, 14, Windsor Crescent, Heacham, King's Lynn, PR31 7JN. If you have any difficulty supplying the required images and information, please contact Steve by email or telephone 01485 571523. Your textThe information that you wish to appear on your page should be supplied either as a Microsoft Word document, or as plain text in the body of an email. Please keep the text to a reasonable length, a maximum of approximately 300 words. If you wish, you can include a list of your qualifications or achievements. These lists should be brief (no more than ten items) and only contain information that is relevant and likely to be of interest to visitors to your page. Contact informationAt the bottom of each member's page there is a space for contact information. Put in as much, or as little, as you wish. Some members include their postal address, telephone number etc. Others prefer only to include an email address. It's entirely up to you, but please indicate your preferences. If you have your own website, a link to it can be placed on your page on the WNAA site. It would be appreciated if you would, in return, link from your site back to www.westnorfolkartists.org ImagesA maximum of five images of your work can be displayed on your page. You may have five small images, 200 pixels high, four medium images 250 pixels high, or three large images, 300 pixels high. Please indicate your preference when sending them. Images should be sent as jpg's, either as email attachments, or by post on a CD or memory-stick. See above for Steve's contact details. If emailing images, the total file size of attachments to any one email should not exceed 20Mb, otherwise they may be rejected. With each image supplied, you should provide the name of the work, medium and, if you wish, width and height. These details will be displayed underneath each image on your page. Your images will be displayed on a background colour, blue-grey, light grey, ivory or white. The default colour is blue-grey as seen behind the images on the right of this page. Examples of the other colours can be seen behind the text on this page. Please specify if you want one of these alternative colours to be used. Although your images will be relatively small when displayed on the page, they should be supplied at the best possible quality that you have. All images on members' pages will be sized to the same height, either 200, 250 or 300 pixels. The width will be relative to the height. Slide showA new feature on the home page of the WNAA website is a slide-show of members work. If you wish, you can supply one extra image for use in this slide-show, or you can designate one of your normal five images to be used. The image which is to be used in the slide show must be square in format. In other words, the width and height must be the same dimension, although the actual dimensions do not matter. If you do not have any work in a square format, a square crop can be taken from a landscape or portrait format image. Please indicate if you wish this to be done for you. |
