Sharon GoldingPainterBorn in Norfolk I have a deep affinity with our wonderful open views, big Norfolk skies and a lifetime’s love of the local landscapes, all of which inspired me to take up a brush and paint. Having attended the College of West Anglia and various local courses, I have been painting for the last 6 years during which time I have taken part in local exhibitions including Grimston Celebration of Art and Downham Market Art Circle annual exhibition, as well as the Downham Market Festival exhibition. Working mainly in watercolours, inks or oils, I enjoy portraiture and life painting, landscapes, animals and still life but also delight in the challenge of painting diverse subjects and abstracts. I adore vibrant colour and the contrast of light and shadow and take great pleasure in experimenting with different mediums and stretching my skills.
