Artist's Statement

I have always painted as long as I can remember and was lucky enough to go to Art School in Blackpool for a Dip A.D. course when I left school. Later, as a mature student, I studied for a degree in education and Art at Manchester. I have taught art to adults in this area for over 25 years, and led some landscape courses at Flatford Mill. Though I prefer oils, I enjoy a variety of mediums, sometimes combined! I enjoy working with local art groups and am available for demonstrations and tutoring.
