A LONDONER by birth and upbringing, Alison Dunhill trained in Fine Art at Reading University under Sir Terry Frost, and more recently completed an MA degree in Art History at the University of East Anglia. She combines her work as a practising artist with teaching, lecturing and writing. | |

PRIMARILY a
landscape painter, working mainly in oils and oil pastels, Dunhill shows a
natural affinity with the land, its colours and textures which she
interprets vividly in her canvases. Her dramatic use of colour and
perspective brings a unique quality to her work, revelling in the textural
and tonal qualities of her subject matter.
